Bird Toon of the Day - March 3, 2016
We'll do three Mutts strips in a row now, from two different years but with a common theme. The first was published March 3, 2012.

This is a comic I don't follow, but which occasionally people bring to my attention. It's called Close To Home and it's humor is, like the other single-panels we feature, on the absurd side. This one is from one year ago today.
I'm posting this Speed Bump from 2013 early because we'll be in a Mutts story arc when the actual anniversary comes. I didn't want to pass it up ... reminds me too much off all those times I fell asleep as a kid in the back seat of our car on the way home from somewhere.
Believe it or not, I have a "leap day" toon! Frank and Ernest had a bird-themed strip on this date eight years ago (2008) ... or is that two years ago because this date only occurs every fourth year?
One more Cheezburger photo before we hit month's end:
Pilsner the parrot goes more than a little too far in this Monty Sunday strip from February 22 of last year. Incidentally, I have done some research and discovered that the human character in this strip is not the title character, but rather a supporting character named "Moondog McHorney". (I kid you not.)
Today, because I haven't posted one in nearly two months, one of Jason Love's "Snapshots".
Free Range from this date two years ago. Look closely at the name of the pizza restaurant on the box lid ...
Bizarro from February 20th of last year. (I had a choice between this and yesterday from three years ago and I thought this one was funnier.)
Speed Bump from five years ago today. Ah, these interspecies romances ...
