#GivingTuesday is over - and we've met our fundraising goal! Thanks to you, we raised $10,397 (including matching funds). That's just about enough to pay for a week's worth of our veterinary expenses for our flock of 650 birds!
Our birds, the volunteers who care for them day in and day out, and our Board of Directors are grateful for your outpouring of generosity.

The final tally is in! We have reached our fundraising goal, thanks to all of you who gave money and hope to the 600+ feathered friends in our rescue flock. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity and kindness.

Thanks to the 60ish generous supporters who gave during this event, we raised $7,575! That, plus the Challenge Grant match, totals $9,848, or about enough to pay for a week's worth of our typical monthly veterinary expenses.

The final results are in! Together we raised almost $38,000, blowing past our $30,000 fundraising goal! I am humbled by and grateful for the outpouring of generosity this represents - enough to almost pay for a month's average veterinary costs incurred by our rescue flock of over 500 birds.
