Meet Amarillo! This handsome cockatiel is a true survivor. He`s overcome some health challenges (spironucleus, spirochetes, and AGY), and some injuries, and is now ready to find his forever home. Sadly for Amarillo, his experiences in life so far have left him very fearful of many things, prone to night frights, and terrified of handling. He will need a lot of love and patience to recover from his past.

Could you be the one to give Charlie the loving home he deserves?
In nature, cockatiels live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single cockatiel to a household if there is already at least one cockatiel living there. Otherwise, cockatiels must be adopted in groups of two or more.
