He's used to being out of the cage for 3-5 hours a day. To get him back in his cage, just tell him to go home or use a longer perch to step up and then place him in cage
Yoda is a very playful and talkative guy. He carries on numerous conversations with himself during the course of the day. Yoda mimics microwave noises and 1 way phone conversations. He says Hello/Bye, Good morning, Baby, Hana, pretty bird, brush your teeth, go outside, inside, Hi Doh-doh, and also whistles
He also loves playing with different toys (his favorites are anything with paper streamers he can pull out and his foraging feeder, with higher value treats inside where he has to manipulate the lid to get the treats out). He also likes looking in his mirror to admire his good looks and is quite the acrobat while scaling his rope perch or hanging upside down on his manzanita perch. Like all birds, he can bite, but usually only when he's scared or unsure of a person, or if he doesn't like you. He doesn't break the skin. He doesn't like fast movements, new people or if you stare at him for too long.
He steps up and likes his head scratched if he trusts you.
