I`m a female umbrella cockatoo in my 20s that Mickaboo has named Edelweiss. My mom wanted to take good care of me and wanted me to be happy, but she never gave me a name. Edelweiss is a white flower that symbolizes love. Now I even have my own song in The Sound of Music!

My mom had to move to assisted living and couldn`t take me with her, so Mickaboo took me in. I`m friendly and well socialized. I step-up and like head scritches. I am used to being covered at night. I`ve been eating a seed diet, so Mickaboo will be working on converting me to healthy pellets. Please check back soon to see how I`m doing!
