I`m Gabrieli, one of three tiny finches rescued along with 14 other birds (!) from a rough situation in January 2025. I`m named after Giovanni Gabrieli, an Italian, early Baroque-era composer who wrote sacred and secular music, often in the antiphonal style wherein groups of instrumentalists would situate themselves in different parts of the music hall to create a stereophonic effect.

I`ve already been adopted into a wonderful home, where I live in an aviary with other finches, and a vet tech takes care of us. But Mickaboo does have other finches that are still awaiting adoption. Please consider taking a few home!
