I`m Daphne, a well-adjusted female umbrella cockatoo that is only 16 years old. I`ve been known to travel from person-to-person, visiting everyone at a dinner party, I insist on being part of the party! If you don`t include me, then you will hear my very loud voice. I need to be a central part of your family. I`ve only lived in one home, but my mom must give me up due to health problems. I`ve been fed a great pellet-based diet of Harrison`s with veggies and fruit. I`ve also had top-notch medical care at an exclusive avian clinic with board-certified avian vets. You will need to be especially careful about only stroking me above the neck and not cuddling with me because I`ve had a collapsed cloaca in the past. I also pluck my chest feathers intermittently. I step-up and like head scratches. I talk and say: Hi Daphne, What are you doing?, Hi Chicken, and Hey. I like a variety of toys and frequent showers. Please cover my cage at night.
