I`m being adopted! But I`m sure there are other cockatiels for you to take home. Good luck in your search!

Hello there! My name is Saga, and I`m here to tell you my incredible journey to find a loving forever home. Life hasn`t always been easy for me, but I`m ready to start a new chapter. I ended up with Mickaboo because my previous owner got really sick and couldn`t take care of me anymore. It was a tough situation, and I needed help fast. A kind Mickaboo volunteer came to rescue me, but our adventure didn`t stop there. While we were driving home, I got a bit scared and started panicking. We had to pull over to the side of the road for me to catch my breath. But then, guess what? The car decided not to start again! We ended up stranded for 4 long hours, 40 miles away from home. That`s how I got my name, Saga. Despite the bumpy start, I promise I`m a sweetheart. I`m a friendly, older gentleman who loves to step up onto your hand, surf on your shoulder, and proudly declare that I`m a "pretty bird." I`m looking for a family that will cherish me and give me a safe, loving home. Are you the one who will give me my happily ever after? I can`t wait to meet you!
In nature, cockatiels live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single cockatiel to a household if there is already at least one cockatiel living there. Otherwise, cockatiels must be adopted in groups of two or more.
