Hi all. I came to Mickaboo in 2023 and I was adopted as a friendly bird. Since then my home appear to have not handled me well and I was returned to Mickaboo recently in in October 2024 as a biter. I have definitely become cage aggressive, however please remember that I'm a prey species, and so the biting I'm exhibiting right now is a) not my fault and b) absolutely addressable with educated handling. The problem is that humans wants birds to ride on their shoulders and just be nice without giving thoughts to their needs. We need enrichment and appropriate handling to ensure our hormones our managed.
