`Twas the day before Christmas, and all through the city,
Not a creature was stirring, all sitting pretty;
But I was hung up in a pile of fly paper,
So a nice person called SF shelter: "can you take her?"
I had fly paper all over me, just everywhere!
They kept an eye on me in hopes that animal control would soon be there!
I`m glad to say that they picked me up fast,
and then to Mickaboo they called and asked,
This bird is alive, if a little sticky,
Could you come and take them.. please, pretty?
A nice lady called Megan rescued me,
And scooted me off vet-wards in her Mini,
Dr Tino examined me and while I look fine,
She felt and observed I have fractured my spine
I`ll be here in vet care for more coming days,
