Hi, I`m Lily, and I`m the first rescued baby of the 2023 season for the SF wild parrots. On Monday Sep 11 a member of the public saw a hawk drop me onto the ground! They were really nice to me and looked after me until an animal control officer came to pick me up. They asked Mickaboo to come get me and get me to an avian vet. Fortunately, it looks as though my injuries are superficial although I`m still at the vet getting checked out for now. I was pretty exhausted after that ordeal so I`m on meds and resting in an incubator. Check back soon for more updates about me.
