Bird Toon of the Day - January 16, 2016
WuMo from March 29, 2014. Self-explanatory.

Haven't posted a Pearls Before Swine strip in a while. Here's one from February 13, 2014 with a rather literal interpretation of another cliché:
One of Dan Piraro's recurring themes is putting species of birds and animals together that would not normally be so acquainted. In this Bizarro from April 21, 2004, a companion macaw attempts communication with a pair of pigeons after getting loose, to no avail, even when employing the old "Polly wanna cracker" cliché. (I love the body language on the pigeon to the right.)
Another of Scott Breier's early "Noodles" toons today.
Haven't had an entry in the category "bird pooping on cars and statues" in a while, so here's a Cheezburger recaption from August 16, 2013 to remedy that.
Ziggy plus his parrot and friend. Original publication date unknown; I saved it from a week of reprints in September, 2008.
Another "Monty" strip featuring Pilsner the parrot, from March 31, 2010.
A classic pre-color Speed Bump from January 30, 2008.
Even certain bluebirds have off days ... Cheezburger from February 18, 2012.
Of the six women cartoonists who rotate on the page where Six Chix appears in the newspaper, Margaret Shulock has bird toons most often ... the others, not so much (and I have never seen anything even close to a bird-themed strip from either Anne Gibbons or Benita Epstein). Today, the only strip in my archives from Stephanie Piro, which I have been holding off on posting until we started seeing snow in those areas of the country that get same. From January 26, 2013.
