Hi! I`m Renata or Renato, depending on whether I prove to be male or female. Either way, my name means "born again." or "second chance." Believe me when I tell you that I was given a second chance today!

I`m a very young budgie who needs medical attention. As you can see, I`m pretty puffed up. I`m just sitting in my food dish most of the time, but the good news is that I`m also eating!

Mickaboo has me in a safe space with plenty of warmth, food, and ambient light. They will get me to the vet tomorrow (Monday). Stay tuned!
In nature, parakeets (budgerigars) live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single parakeet to a household if there is already at least one parakeet living there. Otherwise, parakeets must be adopted in groups of two or more.
