I`m Kiki Gee, a 24-year-old White Capped Pionus. My name is pronounced "kee kee GEE," just like it`s spelled. (Is that cool or what?!)
I`m proven male, tame, sociable, healthy, relatively quiet, and, if I may say so, very handsome. I can say my name and a few other words. My favorite phrase is "Purdy birdy!" and I just learned to whistle Bro Hymn like Jackson the Senegal Parrot, whose cage is next to mine.
My previous owner has taken great care of me, and she used to be a vet tech at a premier avian veterinarian. Now, she has to give up her birds for health reasons.
I came to Mickaboo with Kiki White the cockatoo, but we`re not close friends and can go to different homes.
I`m a bit stubborn but like people and will work with you if you meet me partway. My species coordinator can provide more details about this.
We Pionus are stocky, short-tailed South American parrots, similar to the Amazona but slightly smaller and (sometimes!) less challenging. We`re attractive, in-demand birds who tend to get adopted quickly.
If you are interested in meeting and maybe adopting me and are approved to adopt, don`t hesitate to contact Mickaboo`s Pionus coordinator at the link above. Thanks!
