Hi there, I`m Floyd, a male umbrella cockatoo. I`ve had a really interesting life. My dad got me from his neighbor when I was around 3 years old. That was around 1978! That means that I am around 49 years old. We birds can live a long, happy life! Unfortunately, my dad recently passed away and now the building where I`ve lived is going to be sold. Since I received more attention at my dad`s work, an automobile repair shop, that is where I lived. I am very friendly. I was out all day except at night when I went back into my sleeping cage. I step-up and like my head scratched. I eat a diet of pellets along with fresh vegetables and fruit. Some of my favorites are lettuce, carrot, zucchini, grape, and apple. I like organic nuts and dried fruit at treat time. I can get loud when you stop holding me because I miss you already!
