My name is Swannie because I`m as white as a swan! I lost most of one leg in some terrible accident long ago. Because of that accident, I also sometimes have problems flying. I live with other gentle finches who were also damaged, in a nice soft environment that still lets us fly a little and socialize together. Below is the story of how I came to Mickaboo. In February, 2022, Mickaboo rescued 170+ finches from an aviary. We`re from that flock, are all settled into foster care, and are ready to be adopted. Most of us will do fine in aviaries with other finches, but a few of us would prefer being housed separately. Check with Mickaboo`s finch coordinator to see which of us are right for your home.
