HI! My name is Pasha and I am a male Solomon Island eclectus in my 20s. I don`t like to brag, but I`ve had a pretty interesting life and my personality reflects that. I lived most of my life with a family in a very busy area of San Francisco. I went out daily with my dad, to coffee shops, on walks, to stores. I LOVE people and going on adventures!

Unfortunately my dad had some health problems and my human siblings did their best to take care of me, but knew that I deserve a family that can give me all their love.

When I arrived with Mickaboo, I was plucking my feathers and showing other signs of a poor diet. Most people don`t realize that us eclectus shouldn`t be eating the same food as other parrots -- we need a lot of fresh fruit and veggies. Now that I`m on a better diet, I`m much better, and my feathers are growing back and looking great!

My favorite thing to do is eat breakfast or dinner on the kitchen counter while mom washes the dishes.

For my new forever home, my foster mom thinks I`d do well in a lot of different kinds of homes. I`m generally pretty quiet, although I can get noisy if I think you forgot to feed me. I like socializing with everyone who comes to visit me, and I`m gentle with my beak. I love to hang out with everyone and spend time with people, whether that means helping someone with homework or perching on a shoulder during a boring zoom call. I don`t mind other animals in the house, but I don`t feel like I`d need another bird in the house or anything like that. I`m pretty much perfect, if I do say so myself. . .

Well, so long as you don`t try and trim my nails!

If you think you might be a good match for me, please raise a wing and let the eclectus coordinator know. I can`t wait to meet my new forever family!
