I`m Daisy, a female red-bellied parrot! I came to Mickaboo in April of 2023 at the age of 15. Before that, I lived in a home with two conures and a cockatiel.
So far, I`m very people-friendly and love climbing around. I like to have my head and neck petted, though I might get "aggressively playful," as is my birthright. Since I lived with other birds, I`m used to having them around, though we need our separate spaces. I like visiting with children over the age of 10 if they are careful with me, and I`m not afraid of dogs who keep a reasonable distance.
The people here are working on my diet. So far, I have nibbled at the pellets and vegetables they`ve given me. If you have good food around for me to try and a friendly knee to sit on, I bet I`d be a great fit in your home.
