Mori

Bird ID: 7604
Species: Cockatiel
Sex: Female
Sub-Species: Whiteface Pearl
Adopted on 2023-04-23
Mori is a sweet and calm young cockatiel girl. She is initially a little cautious when meeting new people and when exposed to new toys and perches. Once she has had a chance to warm up to people, she will climb happily onto their shoulder and stay there all day!

The pink marking on Mori`s forehead is an artifact from her pre-Mickaboo life. We anticipate that it will fade or molt out over time.

Mori`s on a great diet of pellets and veggies. Her favorite activity is to sit on her person`s shoulder with them holding a balsa wood toy for her to chomp and shower them with balsa shavings! When she is in her cage, Mori waits in a corner for her person to come back to play with her, so she would benefit from having a cockatiel buddy to keep her company and enrich her life. Mori is ready to bring her quiet charm into your life!
In nature, cockatiels live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single cockatiel to a household if there is already at least one cockatiel living there. Otherwise, cockatiels must be adopted in groups of two or more.
