We came to Mickaboo from a pretty sad situation. We`re used to just having each other, and need to be adopted together. We`re both good eaters, and we love to cuddle up and preen one another.
Wendy doesn`t like being touched by humans, but likes being around them. She`ll take treats and step up onto a rope perch without issue. Marty is more shy, but is still curious about humans. He`ll take a treat from your hand if offered... but only if Wendy doesn`t interrupt, insisting you pay attention to her instead. Both are also capable fliers, and have been known to land on heads.
Marty came into Mickaboo with a severely overgrown scissor beak, but regular trims have helped get it under control. Marty will likely need monthly beak trims for the rest of his life, but thankfully has no other health issues.
