Hello, I`m Willow! I`m a beautiful male Congo African Grey Parrot. Mickaboo thinks that I`m about 12 years old. I`m really new to Mickaboo! I had a quick stop at the vet to make sure I was healthy. I`m now in my foster home (January 2022) and starting to get settled!
We greys can take awhile to get comfortable in new situations, but my foster dad has already learned a lot about me! I`m a really good eater, which is great, because I actually need to put on a little bit of weight. So far I love to eat Zupreem Veggie Blend pellets and Caitec Oven Bites. I usually will soak my pellets in water before eating them. I also love fresh fruit and veggies - bell pepper, apple, edamame, bananas, blueberries, and corn are some of my favorites so far!
I love to hang out on the play stand on the top of my cage. I sometimes even climb up the toy hook and perch on a bar way up high! I`m still getting comfortable with my foster parents, but I`ll hesitantly let them transfer me back to my cage when it`s time to go home. I am very gentle when taking treats from your hand. Did I mention I love food?
