Psycho (Sweetheart)
I can talk a little. Do you want to hear my stormtrooper voice from Star Wars? You can definitely understand some of the words like baseball, pretty bird, etc. I also like to whistle but, fair warning; you must bob and weave as we whistle so we can all have fun.
I can be a little possessive of my territory. I`ll step up most of the time, but to make it easier on you, make sure the cage is lower, so you have the upper hand. We love our play stand and may try to defend it.
I love showers, but let`s not stop there, let us soak our feet a bit and then rub some Vitamin B oil on them to finish the bath. I love it! I`m currently fully feathered but have had my nails and wings clipped by a professional and don`t seem to mind it too much.
I will let you handle me and like to hang out with you, though I like to get back to the safety of our cages after a short time.
I`m not intimidated by our foster parent`s cat or a dog, though you should, of course, keep a close eye on things when they`re around us. I can entertain them too if need be. Well, if the cat ignores me, that is even better.
I`m used to being out of our cages from 9 am until around 9 pm, with human supervision. I love toys, the chew and destroy ones are favorites.
I don`t like to go to bed and make it a little challenging at times. I am a little afraid of hand-held perches that aren`t mounted in my cage. When I see one in my human companion`s hand, I`ll move to the inside of the cage for the night.
