Bird Toon of the Day - June 8, 2021
Argyle Sweater: Nice turn of the phrase here.

Six Chix: I thought all outdoor birds were on that diet.
This is probably a good time to point out (again) that the reason Six Chix strips look different each time I post them is because the strip is literally done by six female cartoonist, each of which occupies the slot on their day of the week ... for example, Mary Lawton drew the above so it appeared on a Thursday originally. (The six women rotate on Sundays, with each one doing one panel every six weeks.) You can see a bar graph listing all of the cartoonists that have been involved, by day of the week, at the Wikipedia entry for the strip; two have literally been there for the entire 21 years of its existence!
Tundra: Well, duh ...
Rhymes With Orange: The avian equivalent of the drive-thru window when in-feeder dining is unavailable.
On The Fastrack: Lenore discovers Zoom.
On The Fastrack: Lenore the raven discovers Zoom meetings.
On The Fastrack: The first of three strips featuring Lenore the raven in a home office setting.
Blondie: We start the month with a strip that rarely includes birds, but this makes for a good follow-up to yesterday's (also not a strip we feature regularly) ...
Candorville: This strip normally has no avian-related content ... but one year ago, at the height of the pandemic, creator Darrin Bell had the main character, Lemont encounter a pigeon taking precautions. (Lemont frequently hangs out on the roof of his urban-located apartment building to think.)
Mutts: Finishing the story arc ... Philippe has his new song, accompanied by a quote from one of the great philosophers.
