Bird Toon of the Day - April 24, 2016
Bizarro from this date in 2009. An oldie but goodie (well, maybe not such a "goodie" for the parrot if the therapist follows through).

Speed Bump from four years ago. Self-explanatory.
Today marks the one-year anniversary of the daily Bird Toon blog here at Mickaboo!
A third installment of Diamond Lil's "Springtime for Stupid" from the day we began posting, to mark the occasion:
An old Bizarro from Valentine's Day, 2009.
(The original cartoon was uploaded in black and white, and was replaced when a colorized version became available December 13, 2017.)
A wonderful old Peanuts Sunday strip (without color, sorry) from March 11, 1973. The last panel is priceless.
This strip was reposted in color on March 11, 2017.
Today marks toon #200 since we started this blog. So today I'm giving you my favorite Calvin and Hobbes bird-related strip (original publication date is June 18, 1989).
A little Calvin and Hobbes today. Since virtually all the strips in my archive are from the reruns at GoComics and are often retagged with the repeat date, I use an online database to find out the original publication date (I do the same thing with Peanuts, for the same reason). This strip originally appeared on February 16, 1987:
This Bizarro, from way back on May 7, 1998, has been identified by Dan Piraro as one of his personal all-time favorites. I like it as well, and hope you will too.
Note: Dan redid this panel, in color, on January 31, 2017. I'm including it here.
The bird tests Snoopy's stamina in this Peanuts Sunday 'toon from October 4, 1953:
As with so many early Peanuts strips, this one was originally uploaded to the blog in black-and-white, then replaced when the color version became available in January 2018.
Snoopy has the tables turned on him by a wild bird in this early Peanuts strip from September 1, 1953.
(This strip was originally uploaded in black and white, but a colorized version became available in late 2017 and I replaced it here.)
