One more Mike du Jour on bad bird calls. I think this one defines the whole concept:
I've skipped a couple of the strips in this Mike du Jour story arc which were essentially bad jokes about the owl "impression" and pick up on the next one in the series. (Try not to groan at the play on words.)
Mike du Jour: Today through Thursday, three bird-related strips from a longer story arc. This one is best described as "perhaps I spoke too soon."
Speed Bump: It took me quite a while to get the joke on this one. Think about what rhymes.
Cheezburger: That would be quite the predicament.
Rubes: File under "that should have been obvious."
Break Of Day: One overeager woodpecker = one bird feeder that will need replacing.
