Redwood City Adoption Fair

Free family-friendly event! 

Come see some of Mickaboo's birds up for adoption!  We'll have budgies (the birds whose personalities are ten times bigger than they are), a greencheek conure who demonstrates why the species is so popular, a Goffin's cockatoo who has been trained by a marvelous foster parent - and more!

 Ask our volunteers about how to adopt a bird from Mickaboo, how to properly care for a companion bird, and what it's like to volunteer with us!

 Bird toys will be available - your purchase helps fund necessary veterinary expenses for our rescue flock.

 ** Please note: no birds will be adopted at the event itself. This event is intended to raise awareness of bird rescue and encourage adoption (vs purchase) of companion birds. The birds we bring to the event should be considered ambassadors for the 450+ birds we have in our care.  **
