[Mickaboo Action] URGENT NEED TO TRANSFER MACAW IMMEDIATELY

Hi! A Greenwing Macaw with a broken wing is being surrendered and needs to be transported from San Francisco to Medical Center for the Birds in Oakley this afternoon or tomorrow morning at the latest. The present owner is leaving on a business trip about noon tomorrow but will be able to meet someone prior to that time. If you are able to make this happen, please let me know. [Mickaboo Action] POSSIBLE MACAW INTAKE - FOSTER HOME NEEDED - HANDLED

The bird's new owner took the bird to an excellent avian vet yesterday for care. He indicated he will observe the bird for a few days and with the vet evaluate a need for surgery on a wing before he makes a decision to surrender. We do, however, have a foster home available. Hi! There is a possibility that we will need to intake a large macaw this weekend that is either sick or injured (to be determined soon). Is anyone willing to foster this bird on an emergency basis? Anyone willing to help should have experience toweling and medicating a very large bird ! Quarantine space needs to be warm and quiet. If you can help please let me know. Thanks. [Mickaboo Action] Budgie sitting needed for Thanksgiving week

I am currently fostering 2 separate cages of budgies (2 + 2) and am going out of town 11/20-11/24. If anyone is able to care for either of these two sets, I would be very grateful. The latest pair I've only had a week, but if they can come out of quarantine before I leave, maybe they'll go together? (or perhaps they'll be adopted!!) Thank you! Martha
