[Mickaboo Action] URGENT: Foster home needed ASAP!!!

Hi all ~ I desperately need a new foster home for Fred the cherryhead conure. He was in a short-term home until the new year, but the long-term situtation I had for him has fallen through. He cannot stay where he is now and needs to be moved as soon as possible. I'd love for someone to take him long-term, but if you can take him even short-term for now I'd be grateful. Hi, I could use a little help preparing a summary report on a grant Mickaboo received. The help would consist of pulling some (6-8) of the pictures that are on our website, formatting them nicely on one or two pages, attaching captions (the bird's name) to each picture, and making the whole thing look nice and professional so we can print it on good paper. Anyone have a little time to throw at this problem? Thanks, Michelle

[Mickaboo Action] Bigger budgie cage

All, We need to find and transport a better budgie cage to Sylvester and Sally. These two birds are in one of those tall, thin cages that encourage the birds to stay at the same location all the time. While they are adequate temporarily, we really need to get these two into better quarters. Sylvester and Sally are about to make a trek from San Rafael to Novato. Is there anyone, particularly in the northerly realms, that has a better sized two-budgie cage? If so, is there anyone that could help transport the cage to either San Rafael or Novato? Renee Kochevar has liberated the budgie from the Palo Alto shelter (whoohoo!!!) -- which only leaves the tiny little one at the Silicon Valley Humane Society Shelter in Santa Clara. We're only talking about 30 grams of budgie here, folks (give or take a gram).

[Mickaboo Action] Foster home for Buster found - but we need a SHORT-TERM (one week-ish) quarantine home!

Hi again ~ Great news! We have a long-term foster home for Buster the Sun Conure - but we need someone who can foster him in quarantine for about a week. The long-term foster is paying to have a full blood-workup done on him so she can skip the quarantine process. Dr. F reports that he's a total lovebug, but is definitely a noisy guy.
