One of Chacco’s earliest pictures in Mickaboo’s care was this: bird slumped over in a hospital cage, sleeping with a hospital collar over his head to prevent plucking of a self-inflicted wound in his chest. This is the story of two lucky budgies who came to Mickaboo separately and have since been adopted into the same home. Cosette is a spunky female budgie who came to Mickaboo as a baby after mauling by what we think was a cat. Levi came to Mickaboo after being found near the intersection of Almaden Expressway and Trinidad Drive in San Jose. Angus is on the young side. He`s fully feathered now. Eats pellets fruit and veggies. He will let you pet him and sometimes will step up. He almost always bites when he`s on your hand.
