Angel Bird Update: Chacco, the Rose-breasted Cockatoo

One of Chacco’s earliest pictures in Mickaboo’s care was this: bird slumped over in a hospital cage, sleeping with a hospital collar over his head to prevent plucking of a self-inflicted wound in his chest. Adoption Success Story: Cosette and Levi

This is the story of two lucky budgies who came to Mickaboo separately and have since been adopted into the same home. Cosette is a spunky female budgie who came to Mickaboo as a baby after mauling by what we think was a cat. Levi came to Mickaboo after being found near the intersection of Almaden Expressway and Trinidad Drive in San Jose. The finder was unable to find the bird’s owner, so gave Levi to Mickaboo after a time. View PDF in a new window

Bird of the Month

Angus is on the young side. He`s fully feathered now. Eats pellets fruit and veggies. He will let you pet him and sometimes will step up. He almost always bites when he`s on your hand.
