Welcome!

 By Michelle Yesney CEO

Happy New Year! This is a time for renewal, when we traditionally think of this fresh start as a beginning, with new opportunities. For the 435 birds currently in our care, we hope it will be the year they find a forever home. To make that happen I would ask all of you to think about what you personally can do to help us be more aggressive this year in finding permanent homes for our birds. View PDF in new window

Thank you!

 By Pamela Lee

Mickaboo’s Annual Holiday Party and Funraiser is our most important fundraiser of the year. The Board of Directors, volunteers, and our 450+ foster birds thank the following individuals and companies for supporting us by donating goods and services. Whether you gave a little or a lot, your kindness helps to ensure our rescue birds receive the care they need before they go to their "forever" homes. View PDF in a new window

Thank you for the inspiring work you do. View PDF in a new window

No pets are for sale in their stores - some stores feature shelter or rescue animals looking for their forever home through adoption. Their website lists just some of the outcomes of their generous support and outreach efforts in 2014 alone... View PDF in a new window

Beako is a lovely female yellow crown amazon. She loves to shake hands with her human. She also says "scratch" and when you scritch her head she says "ahhh." She likes to be covered at night to go to bed. When you uncover her in the morning, she will say "Good Morning Bee Bee." To learn more about adopting Beako...  Read More
