Hello, Sue- Thank you for helping this little bird. I have forwarded this to a MickaCoo approved adopter (Jane & Annye) as they are looking for a friend for their rescued DD. Other than that, MickaCoo is too full and could only publicize but not foster this bird. Hello! We need people and birds to attend the East Bay SPCA's Small Animal Adoption & Education event in Oakland on Saturday 3/31 from 10:30 am till 2 pm at 8323 Baldwin Street, Oakland. Let me know if you want in on the fun. *You’re invited! We are hosting our annual springtime Small Animal Adoption and Education Day at our Oakland Adoption Center, called “Egg-Stravaganza” on Saturday, March 31st, 2012. We will be providing a platform for small animal adoptions, and we would be thrilled if your rescue can join us!* *This event will be similar to our Fall Animal Adoption and Education event, as we will have FREE games and activities for kids and families to enjoy while looking at all of the small animals available for adoption. Hello- I am really stressing with more that needs doing than there are hands to do it. With all the incredible help & support that MickaCoo gets, we still need more people to join in to make these rescues happen. As of right now, we are maxed out with our foster caseload and cannot take any more birds in until some are placed and more help is mobilized. If you can outreach to generate adoptions, help raise funds (garage sales or grant writing or ???) or help create a website or would otherwise like to commit to keeping MickaCoo aloft, please tell me what you'd like to do.
