Broke-leg feral pigeon needs ride SF to Medical Center for Birds in Oakley

Hello- I've got a feral pigeon with a badly broken/shattered ankle. I've checked with wildlife rescue and they would euthanize her but, I believe, if she gets expert care at Medical Center for Birds, she can keep the leg and at least some function, and return to her life as a free bird. Is there anybody out there that could give her a ride? Oakley is an hour east of SF but, for this bird, the trip could make all the difference. Please let me know! MickaCoo Rescued 10 Homing Pigeons from University of CA East Bay today!

Thank YOU, Cheryl, for devoting many hours and miles to getting these poor, deprived birds out of their captivity and into AMAZING foster aviaries where they can LIVE. These birds were used for cognitive testing and proved they could count. All, I just want to say that I have been a Mickaboo member for a very short time. However each day I am truly amazed at the selflessness you all represent each day. Every time I scan the e-mails it seems I see another heroic story and this last one truly amazed me. I have never had so many good tears in my eyes! If there were more people in this world with hearts like Mickaboo volunteers can you even imagine what a great world we would have? Scott, Robin, Sue, Alisa, and Alisa's husband, and can't forget Gracie what an inspiring story this has been. A story of hope and good that I am blessed to have been able to watch transpire. Help! Lots of pigeons and doves in need of adoption!

Hello! I'm writing to ask for your help because MickaCoo <http://www.MickaCoo,org>is so full up with lovely pigeons and doves in need of homes that we're unable to take in new ones from the shelters. Please think about folks that you might know who would enjoy a small backyard aviary or a nice indoor pair of birds. Pigeons and doves make lovely and truly undemanding pets!
