There are several people who sent email in the last 1-3 weeks offering to "volunteer" to help. This would be a great thing for them to help on - although you will need to give them a script and a quick but intense training, Karen. I think the place to go next is to get the stores that DO NOT sell animals to support the ban and also to show that small business in SF can and do thrive without selling live animals.

There are two tabs - one of stores that don't sell pets and one of stores that do. So far, there are more stores that do not sell any animals than those that do. This is the start of the list, but it's probably best for you guys to confirm the info and talk directly with the store owners.
