I am wondering whether we should send one of our documents - perhaps the press release or the letter that Karen wrote to our fellow rescues - to each of these media outlets that runs a softball/cutesy piece like this one. Or we might want to customize a document for this kind of situation, something with enough facts about the pet bird crisis that it hurts a little bit. We could include a cover letter that says, "Thank you for covering this important topic; we hope that you will take a moment to read about some of the real reasons behind it," or words to that effect, --VH From: media-advisors-bounces@mickaboo.org [mailto:media-advisors-bounces@mickaboo.org] On Behalf Of Elizabeth Young Sent: Thursday, July 29, 2010 4:43 PM To: Mickaboo media advisor team Subject: [Media-advisors] SF Ban clip from Today Show: Unleashed Elephants?
