[Mickaboo Action] Since we're all over the topic of SF flock conures today ...

I thought I'd send out a reminder that we're in desperate need of new foster homes for these guys. We have adopted out a few of them lately, but they are coming in faster than we can find adoptors right now! - Ellis and Willow are off their meds and have had their checkups from Dr. Ferguson - they're bonded, so they'd need to move to a new foster home together. - Jasper is a cutie (seriously folks, look at this face: http://mickaboo.org/our-birds/frame1133.html) who came in with the neurological illness. He's already on antibiotics and deworming treatment to kill the parasites that cause the brain damage. - Heather came in with an infected leg that's healing after some serious surgeries that included her dying on the operating table a couple of times! She's a tough cookie though and wasn't about to let death stop her! :) - Grant also came in with the neurological illness, but Jennifer says it's one of the mildest cases of it we've seen. He's also be dewormed to kill off the parasites that cause so much damage in their brains. - And Sutter is still at the vet recovering from surgery to reattach his beak - once he comes home we'd love a long-term foster home for him too!
