[Mickaboo Action] Home Visit Needed in Concord - on Davis Ave

Hi, Michelle Blackwell lives in Concord (on Davis Ave) with her husband. They have a single male canary, and would like another canary. They took a Mickaboo class, and I did a phone screen. Michelle sounds like a good potential adopter. They allow their canary to fly daily in an enclosed area, and sleep in its cage at night or when it is not supervised. The home visit person should check to be sure the flight area is safe. Other than that, this person sounds like a good home. I have attached the application. [Mickaboo Action] Temporary foster home? URGENT

George the Mitred conure's foster dad, Bryce, is going on vacation to Europe - and so we need a foster home for George for a while. It looked like we had a home lined up, but it fell through due to a couple of unforeseen issues at the new home. Time is of the esscence now, Bryce leaves on June 26th and will be gone until July 31st. Please can someone take George in for this period? [Mickaboo Action] Conure at a shelter in need of a foster home

Hi all ~ We have a stray conure at the Silicon Valley Humane Society that needs a foster home if we're going to be able to help. Here's what I know: They have a stray conure in that they were wondering if we might be interested in taking in. She says she believes it is a Nanday conure. It is green and black in color. It seems friendly as he comes up to the cage bars to say hello, but has been too afraid to step up for anyone yet. She says he looks healthy. That's all I know at this point - so the bird will need a strong quarantine since it it came in as a stray, and lots of socialization time to help us assess if its just freaked out at this point or what. They are very nice Cal cages that Virginia Scribner is kindly donating to Mickaboo.
