Re: [Mickaboo Techlist] FW: [Mickaboo Discuss] What does PA stand for?

That sounds good. I'm fine with having everyone have "volunteer" access,
but Admins access only goes to people who need it for the work they're doing
for Mickaboo.

I guess I wrote the roadmap with admins in mind. Maybe I should look it over and maybe consider dividing it into:
- external (volunteer) roadmap - internal (admins) roadmap
That way, we could put the "volunteer roadmap" on the volunteer space and the "admins roadmap" on the admins space, with a link back to the volunteer roadmap in the admins roadmap.

Hmm. Some of the pages it links to do (like username/password for petfinder, etc) but the raw roadmap itself doesn't have anything I object to. It'd be fine to just move the roadmap document but leave the linked documents in the 'admins' area if they appear to be admins sensitive.
I guess we need to consider how much information on "how we operate" can be given to folks who aren't in the admins group. I don't really think our operational structure is that important that it needs to be secret, but what do you think?

Absolutely.
However, before I do that, does it contain any information that you don't want the non-admins to know about?

Unless anyone objects, I'm going to say that it's OK to make a wiki account with the "Volunteers" privilege for anyone who asks.
Nancy, Tammy or Michelle must still approve someone being added to the 'Admins' group.
Any chance you could move the Volunteer roadmap to the "MB Volunteers" section rather than the Admins section so those folks would have privilege to access it?

I hope I didn't step out of bounds with these two. I know we don't give accounts out to everyone on discuss.

Chloe - Got it Thanks ...
Nancy - Can we please get access to the Wiki so that we may
look at The
Volunteer Roadmap for the table of acronyms.
Thanks! Sherri

Although I'm usually the one creating the accounts, I can't create them without being asked (meaning, I can't be the one to decide that it's OK).
I think most (if not all) volunteers can have a Wiki account. We just need someone to OK it. Matt or Nancy can. I'm not sure who else. So, they are the ones you'd need to ask first, then they pass it on along to me to make them.
Regards! Chloe
