Re: [Mickaboo Techlist] Auction on the website??

eBay would be one good choice, but they'll take a percentage of our donation and then paypal will take their fee (and so on). Another option is to create a world-commentable wiki page describing the auction and let people leave a comment and their name and bid on the page, which would be the virtual equivalent of the holiday party "Silent Auction" events. We have only done auctions in person at the Holiday Party, so we'd have to chart new territory with this. I'm cc'ing Matt in case he has ideas about how we could do this through the website.

More background on the poster, please: 1 - who is leading the effort? I'm not sure I understand Josette's role, vs Patty's role. 2 - It's a laminated sorta poster? Not a watercolor or oil? 3 - "suitable for collection" meaning..?
Thanks for keeping me in the loop! - Pam
