Hiya
Ok this is the response I got, not sure if you got it too :)
*If anyone says that they want the 'discuss' list traffic but not the 'action' traffic, let them know things being sent to 'action' would ordinarily be sent to 'discuss' but are being moved to the action list so people on both lists don't get duplicates.*
So basically, you shouldn't be getting any more mail than usual - unless of course you're on digest on discuss!

Hey Ailsa,
Can you take me off this list or point me to someone who can? The odds are high that being 1000+ miles away, I won't be able to help much on the action. :)
Thanks!

Sarah F. has hooked me up with Kam Pablina in San Juan Batista and she can take in SF ACC's two roosters, the chukar, the pheasant (!) and the dyed-yellow duck. Yea!!!!
I'm on the hunt for someone who can transport from SF (or SJ area) to San Juan Batista (preferrably this weekend if at all possible). It's 90 miles from SF, 40 from SJ.
C'mon- it will be fun!

Sigh. Why do I feel like everything we try to do, we'll make SOMEONE unhappy -- and why do I still persist in trying to please everyone? Ailsa wrote:

There are several people, myself included, who are former Mickaboo volunteers and adopters who have moved out of state (or in my case, out of country). I am STRONGLY in favor of having a list for action emails so that people can either filter them differently or pay more attention to them and not have important messages drown in various discussions or be overlooked. However, the flip side is that people who cannot help with those action mails should be able to opt-out.
Why is that not a possiblity? Yes, it's not any more net mail, but one list is labeled 'discuss', reasonably for discussions related to Mickaboo, and the other action. I would love to be able to keep up to date with Mickaboo through the discuss list without getting all the action mails. Is that completely not possible?
