The picture size, as you guessed, is the reason for the bounce. We limit picture sizes to 1MB but your images are usually around 4MB - which is a very high resolution and quality photo! Since the discuss list forwards out to about 250 people, each 4MB picture uses up a LOT of resources. Additionally a lot of our folks are on dialup and a 4MB image takes about a minute to download before they can get the rest of their email. If you are familiar with using the Wiki, you can just post your images in the public wiki area specifically meant for photos, and link to them.
