HI all; I just looked at the wiki permissions to ensure they are what I think they are, and wanted to send out a notice. We recently DISABLED anonymous comments, since we had to open up a "raw HTML" feature to add donation buttons to the site. Allowing anonymous people to add raw HTML to pages is a security risk. To allow our volunteers a bit of an easier time creating accounts with which to comment on the site, we opened up a "Sign Up" feature to allow people to sign up themselves without having the tech team create them an account. Once a person signs up a new account, they're left with only "confluence-user" permissions and NOTHING else. A confluence user may not create any pages anywhere. They may view the public space, blog and newsletter spaces and leave comments in them. They may not even see the admins, BoD, Approvals/Rejections or other restricted spaces. If someone wants to post photos, etc, we need to add them to the "MBVols" group so they can use the photo sharing site, which can be seen by anyone but not posted to except by MBVols members.
