Hi all! This weekend, I made some modifications to the SPAM filters and
plan to make more soon. Here's the synopsis:
1) DONE: Nightly a script pulls the membership roster from
admins@mickaboo and discuss@mickaboo and adds it to a SPAM whitelist, so
those emails are not spam filtered at all. (Note, viruses are still
scanned).
2) TODO: Add some simple heuristics to SpamAssassin to focus it more on
bird rescue related terms.
3) TODO: Find a good way to alter the web 'contact my coordinator'
links to allow for less SPAM filtering but more difficulty in getting
spam. Maybe Re:Captcha?
