Dear MickaCoo Supporters, Please accept my deep and heartfelt appreciation for your support of MickaCoo's efforts in the June Pepsi Refresh grant competition. Wherever your support fell on the spectrum- from tolerating my daily reminders to vote in a very wonky contest to click-voting and texting every day to the epic and all-in effort that many of you made, I appreciate that you chose to give what you did more than I can express. We were not able to win, ranking 31st out of 160+ projects, but I am extremely proud of and moved by your efforts made on behalf of MickaCoo. MickaCoo is having growing pains and I need to better share the responsibilities amongst our volunteers. Without the $25K Pepsi grant, I'll need to find another way to create some sustainability for MickaCoo and will be pursuing a fiscal sponsor through whom I can both fundraise for and earn a salary.
