Hello- Pete is a very people-centric tame pigeon that was rescued as an injured baby and kept as a pet for 4 years. Then he was surrendered to the Peninsula Humane Society where he was going to be euthanized if MickaCoo didn't take him into foster care. Pete has since spent time in a big, fabulous aviary with lots of sexy single pigeons but he wasn't really happy. Then he was relocated to the SF SPCA Humane Education Summer Camp foster aviary and he has been MUCH happier with so much human attention. Now the summer program is ending and Pete needs a new foster or better yet forever home. Pete needs a person! Pete is the kind of pet bird that would enjoy hanging out on your shoulder, your computer monitor, your desk, your head... he's fine with other birds, cats and dogs (just not much interested) and really wants to have a person!
