Inexpensive source for fake dove eggs (small parrot or cockatiel size OK)
Hello- I'm a little scandalized at the prices folks want to charge for small (1"), white fake eggs for doves. I'm used to paying about $4 for a dozen lovely wooden ones for pigeons and the cost for fake dove eggs is often $1 or more per egg! Do you have a good online source of inexpensive, 1" fake eggs? small (1"), white fake eggs for doves
Does the "white" matter and/or can you find a safe way to color these white yourself? Here's a bag of 25 small (7/8" long x 5/8" wide) wooden eggs for $3: http://www.craftparts.com/wooden-wren-eggs-p-1566.html I've recommended these for nesty cockatiels and they've worked well. --VH
