UPDATE/2ND REQUEST: Pigeon Adopters Needed!!

Lots of good news to share! MickaCoo placed 4 pigeons and a dove with
adopters this week and was able to route 5 pigeons and 2 doves to other
rescuers and make room to take in a sick baby king from SFACC that has been
named Elvis as well as the rescued young king mentioned below in the
original e-mail (now named Nieve).
AND
We still have LOTS of lovely pigeons and doves available for adoption
including -
-Extremely sweet homing pigeon couple Sunny & Joey, (mild) special needs,
tame and ideal to live indoors
-Happily married doves Cassie & Sammy
-Big, feisty and charming mated kings Sparkle & Peppermint
-Tiny and clever and sassy mated roller pigeons Rascal & Derby
Click here http://www.mickaboo.org/our-birds/species-19.html to check them
out!
C'mon. You KNOW you want to!

king pigeon from the middle of a busy downtown SF street. MickaCoo cannot help this king (nor the baby at SFACC nor the Berkeley ACC-rescued king pij) until we get some pigeons placed in forever homes.
We have 78 (!!!) in foster care and the small MickaCoo team and system CANNOT support any more fosters. (I thought 50 was scary full!)
So- please give some thought to opening your home and heart to a sweet pair of pigeons. They can live in your home in a large dog kennel-cage and then mingle happily with the family while wearing their pants.
They are smart, sweet, easy going, low-maintenance and quick to learn family routines.
Or of course you can create a beautiful aviary outside and adopt a flock.
PLEASE help MickaCoo to find *adopters* for some pigeons.
Attached is a picture of special needs and bonded homers Joey (flightless) & Sunny (feet are slightly deformed) enjoying a bath together (pij are VERY romantic). Neither is able to thrive in an aviary and they would do best as pets. They are adorable. And there are of course many more- Peppermint & Sparkle, Rascal & Derby, Teddy & Chase, Miles & Macy, Tina & Tony and and and! Many can be found herehttp://www.mickaboo.org/our-birds/species-19.html. (Lots more are yet to be posted- check back frequently!)
When some are adopted, we'll be able to help the birds we're turning away.
Thank you!
