Very Sad News from MickaCoo

I'm ever so sorry to have to tell you that dove Piper, beloved mate of Pierre, died last night from complications in her recovery from surgery to correct her deformed legs. A necropsy is being performed. Pierre is lonesome but OK. I've been giving him lots of one-on-one time and attention which he wasn't interested in from me when Piper was home but is accepting now. I will be offering him another companion as he is truly the sweetest little bird husband I have ever seen. I feel really privileged to have been a witness to Pierre and Piper's incredible love affair. I am heartbroken that it has been so tragically cut short. You can read more about Piper and see the most recent pictures herehttp://www.rescuereport.org/2010/09/tragedy.html . I know that many of you consider Piper and Pierre dear friends. Thank you. And I'm so sorry. -- Elizabeth Until they all have homes, don't buy, don't breed- adopt. www.RescueReport.org http://www.rescuereport.org/ www.MickaCoo.org http://www.mickacoo.org/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGjyooh3Yo0

Oh no! I'm so sorry Elizabeth, I know everyone worked really hard and we were always rooting for the little featherbutts; the Universe just seems to do it's own thing, and not the way we would like it to be ~peace, and healing mojo~ :(
