Volunteers Needed for the Pigeons
Hello Everyone! ***Volunteers needed for ground digging project*** I live in Pacifica and am planning to install a new aviary for my two pet pigeons and to expand on the number of MickaCoo foster pigeons I can take in. I currently have a 4ft.Wx7ft.Lx6ft.H aviary which can only hold 4-6 King pigeons and has a very awkward half door. My brother Tom has volunteered to build me a new Aviary which will be 8ft.Wx14ft.Lx7ft with a five foot solid point roof for roosting and 9 foot clear roof for ample light. This will allow me to take in a lot more birds when needed and will allow me to be able to sit and hang out with the birds as well! I have some prep work I am recruiting volunteers for. I need to dig 10-12 inches into the ground which is all dirt now in the 8ft. by 14ft. area the aviary is going to sit on. This will be filled with Pea gravel for the floor and outer edges lined by pavers. So if you are interested in pitching in, I would be very grateful as would MickaCoo King Pigeons that need a place to stay so they can thrive and be places in forever homes! I will also of course provide ample food and drinks and you can play with some King Pigeons or Mandee my pocket pigeon. If we get a lot of people, it will take less time and I have a hot tub you can jump in too! Here are some possible days maybe 10am-3pm and could be less or more time depending on people. Sat.
