Just FYI, here's a snapshot of MickaCoo's "foster roster" as of 8/20. Black numbers represent available slots (which aren't really available because we don't have birds that currently fit those slots and we're over our capacity overall). Red numbers represent temporary slots with birds that need to be relocated. Black numbers in boxes mean indoor/supportive care slots. Linda (the right-most column) has an aviary that will be able to take 10 doves probably starting 9/1. We've got 52 slots and 53 birds. Adoptions have been almost non-existent since June and, until some birds are adopted, I don't feel comfortable having MickaCoo take on any more fosters. Personally, I'm overfull and need to significantly cut back both my number of foster birds and the hours I volunteer. I've attached the adoption flyer and the fundraiser "save the date".
