They said no, because they apparently helped someone else in their same category in an earlier round – and their partner won, while the Gas Cards people lost (by one spot). As to the medical thing – yeah, that’s why Mickaboo wasn’t in the June voting round, because we mentioned we would be spending the money on our humongous vet bills. Pepsi’s rules say they won’t pay for medical research… so apparently someone got confused between medical research and birdie bills. [envision Pam rolling her eyes] THIS time, we said we would use the money to fund our annual holiday party (mailing costs for the invitation/fundraising letter, site rental, some of the food expense). Also, I suspected the $5K category would be easier to win… Finally… for those of you who wanted automated daily email reminders… Matt has this almost up and running.
